HVAC Helper
Established HVAC business looking for HVAC helpers. Experience or schooling preferred. Technical ability or worked with tools previously a must. Please email your resume and desired hourly pay rate. Prefer candidates living a reasonable distance from Carver, MA.
Job Duties
Works under the direct supervision of the lead HVAC technician to complete the following job duties:
- Install and replace heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment for commercial or residential customers
- Engage in troubleshooting when needed to make system work appropriately
- Coordinate with sales person, general contractors and customers
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle
- Maintain all tools and equipment necessary for the installation of HVAC systems
- Generate appropriate customer invoice at job site, obtain customer signature at completion of job as well as COD payment. Document all installed equipment upon: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, and pictures as necessary
- Must be motivated to complete installs and learn the trade
Other Requirements
- Technical ability or worked with tools previously a must.
- Well-groomed, neat appearance.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Valid social security number.
- Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company (if requested).
- Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights including rooftops; work in small crawlspaces, attics with high temperatures, or buildings with cold temperatures.
- Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
- Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required.
- Work as a part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Installation Technicians
Established HVAC business looking for experienced installation technicians with minimum two years' experience in the field. Experience in residential and commercial services preferred.

Established HVAC business looking for experienced service technicians with minimum 2 years' experience in the field. Experience in residential and commercial services preferred. Job Duties
- Service, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers.
- Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis.
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
- Understand company pricing and generate appropriate customer invoice at job site.
- Obtain customer signature at completion of job as well as COD payment.
- Obtain correct customer information including email address.
- Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
- Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what needs to be fixed.
- Identify and report to owner potential opportunities for additional business (newer system and additional services).
